Sales and Delivery Conditions
We sell products to adult individuals and businesses within Finland and Europe. Product prices include VAT. We reserve the right to make changes to prices and shipping costs.
Ordering
Products are ordered through the online store by adding them to the shopping cart and completing payment using the available card payment options or payment services. All customer information is handled confidentially. The contact details requested at the time of order will only be used for delivery or to resolve any issues related to the order. If you opt to subscribe to our newsletter, it will be sent to the email address you provide. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions in effect at the time of purchase.
You have the right to request the correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data. To do so, please contact our data controller. If you believe your data has been processed in violation of data protection laws, you can file a complaint with the data protection authority.
Payment and Payment Methods
Our online store uses WooCommerce Payments, which provides payment options through the Stripe payment service. We do not offer in-person payments for online orders. All orders must be paid using the payment methods provided by the online store. Payments will display our company name, MOKKAPUU Avoin Yhtiö.
Payments are activated once we receive the order due to the short activation window, to prevent automatically scheduled cancellations. Occasionally, you may receive an invoice for your order before it has shipped.
Order and Payment Confirmation
After a successful order, an order confirmation will be sent to your email.
Shipping Methods and Costs
Shipping costs are automatically calculated in the shopping cart after you enter your address. We primarily deliver orders via postal services or Matkahuolto. Packages can be tracked with a tracking number. We strive to use recycled materials for package shipments.
Postal Packages: Your order will be delivered to the nearest post office, where it can be collected with a notification of arrival. A tracking number will be sent to your email once the package is dispatched.
Matkahuolto Packages: Your order will be delivered to the nearest Matkahuolto service point or parcel locker, where it can be collected with a notification of arrival. A tracking number will be sent to your email once the package is dispatched.
Note! An uncollected package does not constitute a cancellation of the order. We do not refund or store uncollected packages.
Delivery Time
Our standard packaging and delivery time for orders within Finland is approximately 3–5 business days after payment is received. We are not responsible for delays caused by force majeure or for indirect damages resulting from such delays. Any exceptional delivery times will be communicated on the online store’s website.
Exchange and Return Policy
Under Finland’s Consumer Protection Act, you have the right to exchange or return your order, in whole or in part, within 14 days of receiving the order. The right to return applies only to unused and resalable products in their original packaging.
The right to return does not apply to custom-made products, digital products, intimate, hygiene, or undergarment products, or gift cards. If you wish to return or exchange products, please contact customer service directly at: bohemic.mermaid (@) gmail.com.
